Following in his footsteps, his son, Joaquin Castillo, began learning the trade at a young age. He absorbed everything he could from his father before transitioning into the commercial construction industry, where he quickly distinguished himself as a successful and knowledgeable superintendent. His experience in the larger, more complex world of commercial projects and love for the city he was raised in gave him the confidence to pursue his own vision, leading to the creation of Portland Contracting LLC.
